Prices, Payments and Extras

Storage hire on all packages is invoiced and payable monthly, in advance. The first month’s hire (and one-off key deposit) is payable upfront at the start of the agreement, prior to receiving your access and key collection information email. On the Flexible ‘PAYS’ Package, the minimum hire period is one week (7 days) – any overpaid hire days are refunded once you vacate your unit and the keys are returned. The 6 and 12-month packages are contracted for the respective period of time. We use a third-party company called GoCardless to set you up with a direct debit for all payments. It’s secure, quick and easy to set up via a unique link you will receive on your first invoice from us, and enables both parties to easily and efficiently manage payments. A deposit of £25 is payable at the start of the agreement and is held against the lock and keys. This is fully refundable on return at the end of the hire period.

We require our customers to have the correct insurance cover in place to cover the full replacement value of their goods in storage. Some domestic insurance providers can be obstructive when it comes to insuring goods outside of the home for extended periods of time and not on your person. Through our underwriters, we are able to offer very competitive Contents Insurance Cover at varying thresholds and rates. Our bespoke policy takes into account all of our security provisions and allows us to pass on significant savings to our customers. Please ask about insurance cover if this is of interest to you. If you wish to provide proof of your own independent insurance cover, this must be provided within 30 days of the commencement of hire; failure to do so will result in a requirement for us to apply our minimum band of cover to any future monthly invoices.

Discounted rates are offered on storage hire for customers committing to 6 and 12-month contracted periods (as detailed in the prices table above). If you book multiple storage units we also offer discount(s) on your additional unit(s). If you wish to pay for 6 or 12 months storage up-front then please ask for further information and terms.

An additional fee of £10 will be charged on each and every GoCardless Direct Debit payment failure on each and every invoice. A fee of £10 will be charged every 7 days for each and every invoice paid via alternative means which remain outstanding over 7 days.
